India’s ColorJet appoints Arun Varshni as head of textile business

Indian digital textile and inkjet printer manufacturer ColorJet has appointed Arun Varshni as vice president and head of its textile business. He previously worked for Voltas Limited, a Tata business, where he managed operations through a team of sales and service managers; customer relationship management and key account management; marketing and sales of textile machines, accessories and services; B2B textile solutions, new opportunities and profitability management; and business and workforce strategy.

Varshney has more than 28 years of experience in the textile industry, according to a ColorJet press release. He is also a Tata Certified Assessor of Business Excellence and is certified in Effective Personal Performance, Relationship Management, Conflict Management and Team Building among other courses.

He was previously with Voltas Limited, a Tata company, and has over 28 years of experience in the textile industry. He is also a certified Tata Business Excellence Assessor.

He started his professional journey at Voltas in 1994 as a textile engineer, held many positions offering B2B textile solutions for many leading textile companies and managed a team of sales and service managers. His last assignment was the management of a textile equipment plant in the northern and central regions of India.
