Men’s Soccer Stumbles Against Omaha

The Lindenwood men’s soccer team (3-9-1, 2-4-0 SL) dropped a road matchup with Omaha (7-5-1, 4-2-0 SL) by a score of 5-0 on Wednesday night from Omaha, Neb.

GAME OVERVIEW

Omaha jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead, less than 10 minutes into the game. The Lions struggled to get much going offensively as the Mavericks added two more goals in the half to take a 4-0 lead into halftime. Lindenwood compiled two shots, including one on goal in the first half, which came off the foot of Logan Doerr

The score remined the same throughout the majority of the second half, as Zachary Martin, who came in at halftime made six saves in net for the Lions. The Mavericks added a late tally as the game finished 5-0.
