The Swiss market declined slightly as shares went on late sales


The Swiss stock market fell slightly on Thursday, drifting down in the last minutes, after still remaining solid.

The SMI baseline, which rose to 12,048.14 in the first minutes, kept gains until about the penultimate hour before gradually falling down to eventually slide into the red at the end of the session, set at 11,877.27, down 2 , 97 points or 0.02% from the previous close.

Swiss Re lost about 3.25%. Credit Suisse was down 2.8% and Richemont was down 1.7%. Swiss Life Holding ended with a decrease of almost 1%, and UBS Group – by 0.65%.

Partners Group rose 1.6%, Geberit by about 1.2% and Logitech by 1%. ABB, Givaudan, Nestle and SGS rose 0.5-0.75%.

On average, the Adecco price index fell 5.8%, Zur Rose fell 4.1% and Kuehne & Nagel fell 3.65%. Temenos Group closed down 3%, while Swatch Group, Dufry, AMS, Clariant and VAT Group fell 1.6-2.2%.

Tecan Group, BB Biotech and Sonova received 2.2%, 1.6% and 1.5% respectively.
