Hundreds of cyclists are preparing to pedal through St. Bernard Parish as Tour Da Parish rolls this weekend



WALGREENS. WELL, NEW THIS MORNING HUNDREDS OF BIKE AND THIEVES ARE PREPARING TO TAKE THESE SAINT BERNARD SCENIC ROUTE THIS WEEKEND, ALL A PART OF TOUR DE PARIS. NOW, LAST YEAR, MORE THAN 400 RIDERS MADE THEIR WAY THROUGH LOWER SAINT BERNARD, PEDALING BENEATH 100 YEAR OLD OAK TREES TO THE END OF THE WORLD AND SEEING THE KATRINA MEMORIAL AND JUST ALL THE BEAUTIFUL OUT THERE. THIS IS A BIGGEST OF THE YEAR FOR THE SAINT BERNARD CHAMBER COMMERCE AND THE GROUP IS EXCITED TO WELCOME MORE RIDERS THIS YEAR. THIS IS OUR EIGHTH YEAR FOR THE EVENT AND IT’S A BEAUTIFUL AND WE WELCOME RIDERS OF ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS WE HAVE A TEN MILE ROUTE AT 16 MILE ROUTE, A 30 AND A 51. SO IF YOU’RE A LEISURE RIDER, WE WELCOME IF YOU ARE GOT YOUR OWN BIKE AND FANCY UNIFORMS, WE ARE FOR THAT TOO. NOW, ONLINE REGISTRATION IS GOING ON TODAY. TOMORROW, YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO DO THAT BECAUSE. IT’S CHEAPER THAN THE DAY OFF AND THEN YOU’RE GUARANTEED A SWAG BAG, A T-SHIRT. Hundreds of bike enthusiasts are preparing to pedal through St. Bernard Parish as part of Tour Da Parish. The non-competitive bike ride features a 10, 16, 30 and 51 mile route showcasing the beautiful scenery of St. Bernard. The race, which starts at 8 a.m. on November 5, is organized by the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce.
