3 teenagers shot in separate Baltimore shootings

Three teenagers were shot Sunday in separate shootings in Baltimore.

City police said officers responded around 3 p.m. to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2300 block of East Madison Street, where they found a 17-year-old boy shot.

City police said officers were called around 6:02 p.m. to the 4000 block of Old York Road, where a 16-year-old boy was shot in the head.

City police said officers were called around 6:18 p.m. to the 3900 block of Kenyon Avenue, where a 14-year-old boy was shot in the leg.

All three boys were taken to hospitals.

In all, at least eight people were shot in Baltimore over the weekend.

Early Monday, Baltimore police reported that there have been 608 non-fatal shootings this year and at least 282 homicides.

There have been at least 24 murders so far in the month of October.
