State police said an argument over hunting led to a deadly shooting in Emlenton, Venango County.Investigations said David Charles Heathcote and Robert Cy Wingard got into the argument near Heathcote’s home on the 700 block of Big Ben Road.Police said during the argument, Wingard threatened that he was going to shoot Heathcote’s daughter and Heathcote then shot Wingard.Wingard was found shot and killed inside his vehicle outside the residence.Police said Heathcote is charged with criminal homicide and is being held in the Venango County Jail.
