Olivia Rodrigo returned for her as late as the 1930s Halloween a suit of inspiration. The Driver’s License singer was headed to a spooky party in West Hollywood on Saturday, October 29, dressed as the legendary Betty Boop character. Wearing a cute red mini dress and a short black bob with forehead curls, the gorgeous singer was the envy of the town.
The incredible display comes just a week after Olivia channeled another iconic female figure: Britney Spears! While meeting fans in Los Angeles, the Grammy winner donned a schoolgirl outfit, complete with a plaid miniskirt and white knee socks, just like Britney in her 1998 hit ‘Baby One More Time’.
Meanwhile, Olivia must have been sending good vibes as she paid tribute to the Aughts pop princess, as she too united recently with another star of that era: Avril Lavigne. The artist invited Canada Avril to take the mic and perform his hit “Complicated” in Toronto this summer. In social media clips of the dream collaboration, the pop-punk rockers sent the crowd into a frenzy with their lavish rendition of the 2002 song.
Only a few weeks later, so did Olivia formed a duet with Alanis Morissette at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. Olivia and Alanis performed “You Oughta Know”, the breakthrough single from Alanis’ 1995 album, Jagged Little Pill. It was a truly epic surprise for the fan favourites, as they traded verses before joining their voices for the chorus.
Speaking of surprises, Olivia appeared at the 2022 Grammy Awards, where she won three awards: Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance (for Driver’s License), and Best Pop Vocal Album (for Sour). It was an incredible night for the young star who looked shocked every time her name was called on stage. The victories really shook her, as did Olivia dropped one of the trophies and smashed it trying to pose with all three!
