According to federal data, Long Covid is more common among women than men.
More than 17% of women were chronically ill with Covid during the pandemic, compared with 11% of men, according to data from the US Census Bureau and the National Center for Health Statistics released this month.
Long Covid was defined as experiencing symptoms for three months or more after exposure. The latest data was collected through an online survey of more than 41,000 adults over the two weeks ending October 17.
